Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what information T-Checker collects, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you when you use our website and writing-review tools.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to T-Checker's online Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

Content you submit

We process text, documents, and related report data that you submit to provide the requested analysis. Depending on the tool you use, this may include plagiarism, citation, grammar, humanization, or AI-writing analysis.

Communications

If you contact us, we may collect the information you choose to include in your message so we can understand and respond to your request.

Usage and device data

We may automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, feature activity, timestamps, referral information, and diagnostic logs. We also use cookies and similar technologies for preferences, security, and analytics.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve T-Checker;
  • process submitted content and return results;
  • respond to support and privacy requests;
  • monitor reliability, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use submitted documents to train our own AI models or for advertising.

3. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose only the information needed to the following recipients:

  • Service providers that support hosting, storage, document processing, analytics, security, and customer support.
  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or respond to valid legal process.
  • Business transaction participants in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy notices where they act independently.

4. Submitted content and reports

T-Checker is designed as a private review service. Submitted content is used to perform the analysis you request and to make results available to you. We do not intentionally publish your content or add it to a public academic repository.

Some features rely on specialized third-party processing services. Those providers receive the content necessary to perform the requested function and may process it on infrastructure located in other countries.

Do not submit confidential, legally restricted, or highly sensitive information unless you have the right and authority to do so.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.

Submitted content and generated reports may be stored temporarily for processing, then deleted or de-identified under our retention practices. Backup copies and security logs may remain for a limited period before routine deletion.

To request deletion of personal information, contact us using the details on our Contact page. Certain records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention or security needs.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid submitting confidential documents or sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the requested analysis.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or available consent settings. Disabling required cookies may prevent some Service features from working.

To make a privacy request, use our Contact page. We may need to verify the request before completing it. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. International data transfers

T-Checker and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If local law requires a higher minimum age, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required.
